SIBERIAN LARCH
Siberian larch is a high-quality and very resistant wood. Due to the demanding climatic conditions in Siberia, the tree grows extremely slowly in width, 1 cm in 10 to 20 years, and therefore grows mainly in height. It is precisely this slow growth of the Siberian Larch tree that is distinguished by its durability and resistance to fungi. Compared to other coniferous species, the wood of the Siberian larch has a higher density, medium hardness and relatively higher strength. It contains only a small amount of resin, which is evenly distributed in the wood, so resin leaks are a rare occurrence in Siberian Larch. Its natural resistance places it in the 3rd quality class, EN 350-2 standards, which means 15-20 years of durability.
